Website Design Examples

Luther Heights Bible Camp

Luther Heights Bible Camp had an established website with good content and a decent layout. The webmaster at the time needed to step away from the project and I was contacted and asked to take over the project. A new look and feel for the site was requested, one that better represented the experience of being at camp.

Visiting Luther Heights reminds people of green trees, snow covered sawtooth mountian peaks, clear refreshing lake shore waters, flower filled meadows with happy and smiling campers of all ages. The blue, green and white color scheme, along with select photos and graphic elements, deliver the "Luther Heights experience" to website visitors.

St. Paul Lutheran Church

The St. Paul Lutheran Church website was designed and developed from the ground up. St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ontario, OR is a smaller congregation looking to use the Internet to bring in potential new members. The color scheme uses harvest colors to represent the agricultural community surrounding the Ontario area.

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church

The Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church website redesign was a major undertaking. The old site was created using frames and had a sparse amount of information. The church had just completed a facility expansion project and was looking to the Internet for ministry outreach and as another conduit for connecting people to the church.

The Shepherd of the Valley website has nearly 100 pages, showcasing ministry work, youth activities and community outreach. The site hosts an audio library containing full worship services and shorter sermon only clips. There are many photo galleries throughout the site featuring the ministries in action. The site also incorporates RSS feeds from church sponsored News Blogs making it easy to get new information on the site in a timely manner.
